How to turn off auto cap? and smiley faces?
I am still noob at this...i was a iPhone user since 3G...I'm only switching between the bold is really nice looking but still cant get off the lack of feature BB has, but not having to charge the BB everyday is a plus lol

so guess auto caps stays? lack of preference control on a bb...yet everyone rave about how good it is...i can only agree to this on the physical level so far...

You mean everything you type is always in CAPS? Thats obviously not right... All you have to do is press the alt + shift button to turn it off.

Although I agree that maybe it should have been an option I also agree why RIM didn't even waste the effort and time to make disabling it an option. Afterall, this is one of there patents.
