how do I get windows messenger to work?
I've tried loading 2.1 service books as that has worked in previous phones... Any tricks I'm missing?

Never had to load different service books to get it to work, you do have a bis data package as it won't work without it unless you use nimbuzz or one of the other progs that do msn

I haven't been able to get it to work since I got the 9700. Everything else works fine. The 8900 just required the 2.1 service books...

If windows live messenger isnt working, you'll have to use another app.

As always super helpful root. If ur BB aint workin use landline or send them a letter instead of calling. If ur car aint workin, ride a bicycle or walk.
Root post count = useless post count plus 1
How abt if u don't know the answer or can't help, just shut up and move on...

Setting all permissions to "Allow" and a restart did the trick for me.
