Default How can i boost the network signal on my blackberry?

Hi, i have been having this network issues for about a month now, ever since i changed the screen of my bold 9700, its either the phone tells me no service or if it gets a service, the network is always too low! Is there anyway i can boost the signal on my phone manually or with a software? And if anyone could be so kind as to give me a link to a guide on opening up the blackberry to check if my network antenna is stil intact? Tanx a bunch

Before assuming its a hardware issue, try the cheaper route first and see if it is the software. It could be something simple like a corrupt or bad database, i would say try a factory reset or an fresh os install, if your problem still persists then it will most definately be hardware.

Default Find out what's the problem with your Blackberry 9700

First, try to use another SIM card if you have one. if it's working fine then contact your carrier and replace the sim card.

If the issue is the same then maybe something is wrong after the change you made with your Blackberry 9700 device.
If it's the case then the best thing to do is to take it to a repair store so some professional can look at the device and find out what's the problem and offer you a replacement part if needed.

Another thing that is possible but less possible that it's something related to the settings on your device, you can try to set the network manually or even reinstall OS version to see what happens...

It's important for you to know where is the problem in order to fix it, there are a few things you can do and each one will get you closer to the solution, the fastest thing is to pay for it and take it to a professional to do the job for you, or you can try to see maybe it's something that you can try to fix.
