Help Please!
Hi, i just upgraded my os frpm .321 to .344 from vodafone. it was very lagy and i went back down to .321. the meterberry app was not functioning, and i decided to delete it. it asked me to restart. now, it loads until the bar is full, but then doesent show the homescreen, it stays stuck on the startup loading screen.
i have a mac, but possibly could use a pc... i am leaving in 2 hours for holidays, must get this fixxed, thanks sooo much9780 and 9700

okay, for some reason after the 15th batterypull it booted. now its got everything, but bbm... should i download bbm again, even if it means my 9700 must be restarted? i am scared

great q..... i was thinking that it was fully starting, and not awake enough to think of mac........ if you can borrow a pc you can do the wipe with out the dtm installed, do you have access to a pc?

How long did you let it sit on the loading screen before you pulled the battery the first time? I've had it take a LONG time to boot sometimes and pulling the battery while its booting is not likely to do good things. I'd give it a good 20min (ridiculous, I know) to try to start itself. If it still won't go I'd reload the OS if possible.

thanks, yeah i let it load for atleast 15, but ill keep that in mind

if you can borrow a pc, and have your sync cable, here is how to wipe device.
xp:
start
run
type: cmd
enter
type: cd\
enter
type: cd program files\common files\research in motion\apploader
enter
type: loader.exe /resettofactory
enter

SORRY
DO NOT REMOVE THE BATTERY!!!!!
if you are using a pc with vista or win 7, the comands will be the same, getting to the comand prompt will be a bit different.
start>all programs>accessories folder>right click on comand prompt>left click on run as admin>
enter the comands as shown in post above,

okay, got everything sorted. i installed it and it did not ask to restart. now justed restored everything and its as good as new... still kinda scared, cuz there was obviosly something wrong with it before. i am scared to restart it :/ or even turn it off... any tipps?

If it booted up it will probably boot fine now
