HELP, cannot update my bb9700

Tried downloading different OS for my bb9700, deleting the vendor.xml file in AppLoader folder, but I still get the same message when using the Loader app "The BlackBerry Desktop Software does not have BlackBerry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator."

Also, I did the right process on installing the OS to the computer (uninstall the old one, deleting files inside the AppLoader folder then install the new one) but still no luck. With my other phone bb9300, I don't experience this when updating.

first thing first what version of OS did you download.
second uninstall all bb OS
third uninstall the BB desktop manager reinstall
restart computer, sometimes computers go crazy
reinstall bb desktop manager, try opening apploader to see what you get, then install OS again.

Before you go through all of this make sure you remove all copies of the vendor.xlm file. Use this tool to help:

Just tried using JL_Cmder to wipe, now it's working. But another problem came after the update. All of the keys are not working. Tried wiping again and loading different OS, still not working.

You haven't said what OS version you are installing.

Tried loading it back to the previous OS (OS5), now everything's working again except for the trackpad button.
