Default HELP! Blackberry 9700 will not stay on...

Hey crackberry,
This is long, but the information is relevant, so bear with me please.

So the other day I was chatting away on bbm, when my delete button stopped deleting, and starting typing P. I rebooted, but the problem persisted, I pulled the battery, but to no avail. Frustrated, I went to bed, naively hoping that the problem would fix itself.

The next morning a new problem arose. My delete button was deleting again, but my cursor was stuck on the clock. When I pressed the blackberry button I could scroll up and down, and typing still got me into the search bar, which became the only way I could access anything. On top of that, after a few minutes of being on, the blackberry turned itself, showing the next on time and prompting me to press any button to abort, but not aborting no matter how many buttons I pressed.

Again, I proceeded with the standard protocol, rebooting, pulling the battery, I even reinstalled the OS, but nothing has changed.

Now, the only way to turn on my blackberry is to pull the battery. When I charge it flashes yellow and after a while green. When the blackberry turns on, it stays on as long as it takes to load the white bar with the blackberry logo, then shows the logo of my local carrier. Then, the phone shows the same turning off message "turning off, next on time... etc." then it starts the security software verification, but never finishes, as the blackberry shuts itself off.

Help me please. I know that was a chore to read, but since you've already invested so much time you might well help me

what OS are you running on the BB 9700? were you by any chance while texting, got you hands wet either by sweat or any other way? reason i asked is becuz this seems to be an hardware issue. The Power/call end,P and Del buttons seemed to be out base on your description above.

Hey thanks for replying. I'm running the latest OS, 6.0.666 or w.e. I did get water in my blackberry a few days ago... If it's a hardware problem, that means I'm gonna have to replace it right?
