headphones not workn
So I just got this new bold and my earphones dnt wrk !! I'm tryna listen from the media player. I did the activate headset n didn't wrk. HELP!

Does the headset work any other place??? Have you tried a different headset that you know works on your new Bold???

so i just tried the o.g headphones that came with the phone and those work. However, my ipod head phones that work on my 8900 didnt work on this phone. I know these headphones work, so i dnt know why they are not working.

That happened with my first 9700. Called T-mobile and they walked me through some steps that didn't work (obviously since its a hardware problem) and then sent me out a replacement.

Only with the Blackberry headphones just as you described. My Dre Beats headphones and Shure earbuds didn't work until I received my replacement Bold.

so what did u tell them?
cuz i called my carrier costumer support and told him the the problem and he was like sorry,
only the earphones that we sent out are supposed to wrk, thats y we send them with the phone (( *******))

sorry you have to deal with this. I know it isn't pleasant. Had to go through 4 Bolds before I got one that was perfect =/
Call them again and tell them you went to the T-Mob store and tried plugging your headphones into an employee's 9700 and it worked fine. That should convince them that it is a hardware problem. Hopefully that works for you
