I got my 9700 for $400 and did not have to extend my contract. I know there are a lot of threads saying a lot of different prices but I feel I got a pretty good deal.

Not good enough I didn't extend my contract I bought it for $300 and traded my 8900 and got a free screen protector plus a official blackberry case for $10.
All from T-mobile but not official dealer.
