Gmail send/receive problem
Ok, just got the BB Bold 9700 few days ago. I noticed that when I send e-mails to myself using g-mail, it does not show up on my phone!
I have a yahoo account and a school account and I can send to myself using those fine, but gmail wont let me.
I dont have any filters set up, I just upgraded from a Pearl and didn't have problems before. - 11-28-2009, 10:53 PM #2
Try resending your service books that should work.

Thats funny cause i noticed the same thing and called tmo. They transfered me to a BB specialist and he informed me that Gmail made it that way purposely because ppl had problems in the past with it. So Gmail no longer allows you to email yourself. Its the provider and if you want to send yourself an email it has to be through another account i.e (yahoo, tmo@blackberry, etc.)

My roommate has the same phone and service yet he is able to send emails to himself with gmail.
