On the fly snooze alarm?
Hi
I was wondering if anybody could help me, or is it even possible. What I am looking for is an app that has a manual snooze or snooze (on the fly) reminder.
I will give you an example:
I am in a surprise meeting for an hour. My phone reminds me that i have to call someone, 10 min into the meeting. What i would like to do is then manually set the snooze time to what I want it to be (e.g. remind me again in 45min when the meeting is over) Thus, I would like to change the snooze time on the fly, as it were, for each and every alarm if needed.
In my search I haven't found anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I am using OS 6 on a bold 9700. I am also currently using Google Calender for my reminders. - 05-13-2012, 09:22 PM #2
Use the native calendar for those appointments. Then when it alerts you, and you want to move it forward, you can set the time to whatever you want, and control the reminder time too, simply by opening the event.

The only app I've ever used with an adjustable snooze is ToDo Matrix. And I have found myself bouncing back to it from time to time for just that feature.

Don't think you will find any "hidden" features to do this..
BUT - there is an option - that will let you take control over you alerts - and give you more control than you'd ever had on your BB,..
the solution is from RexWireless, and is an app called AlertMatrix
AlertMatrix can control alerts for email, pin, sms and and calls,..
so If you use Google Calendar for appointments or alerts, and tell it to alert you by sending an e-mail - to address that will arrive on your phone... Then - AlertMatrix take it from there and you have full control.
There is an easy function that let you "snooze" alerts on demand...
