    Default files saved on my built-in media storage

    hello everyone i want to know i have a blackberry 9700 with os. 6.0.0.668 and i plugged on USB and i go to the blackberry desktop software and i click BACKUP why didnt show me the option

    files saved on my built-in media storage


    please help me to fix it thank you.

    The desktop software will not access your media card. To do this you need to use windows explorer and navigate to the SD card.

    You can then "drag and drop" or "copy/paste" the files you require.

    I'm not sure if the files held on internal storage such as pictures etc get backed up with DM. I only ever use the SD card for my media, pictures etc.

    Perhaps someone can enlighten us on this.

    Your computer and desktop manager cannot read the 32MB device memory used for storage. I recommend getting a memory card and using filescoutlite to move stuff to the memory card instead of using device memory.

    Thought so Brian but wasn't certain as I never use the internal 32mb. All my files end up on the 32gb SD.
    Do as you would be done by and 12 pence to the shilling (or 100 cents to the dollar).
