Again, this is how i THINK it works. There might be a setting to alter how the LED reacts to messages/missed alerts, but I haven't found one (I haven't looked very hard either, to be honest).
Maybe someone more versed on the red flashy light of goodness could shed some more light on this for you.
I don't think there is anything wrong with your phone that is causing this, because mine has always only flashed for a set period of time (over all the OS builds I have used), and on .862, it still behaves this way. | Yeah I've noticed that when I would be at work an I would have a green led but have msgs so that makes sence but The led an back light seemed to work after I unpluged it from the charger but I still get the sms problem once in awhile.
