I'm new to all this blackberry madness but love my bold 9700 (after a fleeting affair with a storm-but that's another story). Its about a week old, im in the uk on vodafone and have noticed that, almost randomly, my phone goes 'off-line' for about 5 minutes every hour - I can't phone anybody (disconnected after every attempt) and nobody can phone me?? I have good/ full signal and all other functions in my bold work fine during these annoying lapses. Please tell me there's a simple explanation for this...and an even easier solution! I really like this thing...itd be a shame to see it go!

I would suggest for you to update to the lastest official OS for Vodafone. I think that you'll see this issue go away and most importantly your phone will work better than before.
