Downgrade from OS 5.0 To OS 4.7
Hi
i want to buy Blackberry Bold 9700 and i read that OS 5.0 has too many problem, so can i downgrade OS from 5.0 to OS 4.7??? - 05-29-2010, 02:11 PM #2
First of all, OS 5 rocks. I don't know who claims you should downgrade but this is ridiculous.
Secondly, the 9700 I believe came with OS 5 from the start. So no, you can not because OS 4.7 does not exist for the 9700.
But again, OS5 is the best thing!!!! The first beta versions were glitchy... but now it's all good!

No, O.S 5 is the lowest os that can go on the 9700 and what problems are you hearing!? Os 5 is great!

They NEVER built an OS 4.7 for the 9700... the first one came with OS 5.0... OS 5.0 works just fine on the 9700.... live with it, it will work just fine for you.

OS 5. whatever is fine for the most part...I have used other OS's on different phones and really like what 5. does.
I am sure that the carrier you are thinking about using has a remorse period...I say try it out!"I don't know anything about anything...I will however steer you wrong if you like!"
Linux users can use "barrybackup" to backup their devices.
For USB WiFi adapters use Encore ENUWI-G2

You cannot do this. No way. OS 4.x happily does not exist for the 9700.
