dialing from home screen doesn't register first number

I've just noticed this because I usually use my address book. if I manually put in a number and press send, it doesn't go through because the first digit does not register so I have to press the green button to get in the dialer and then it's OK. Mildly annoying. Anyone else have this issue or know of a fix?

What version of OS 5 or 6 are you running?
Have you tried a soft reset or battery pull?

you have to press the first number two times or change your theme....It happens to me too when i change to "ilike_os7" theme......hope i helped

I'm on OS6. I just tried pressing the first number twice...it worked. Many thanks.

Same here... I have retrained myself to push the green phone button first. Seems more intuitive than entering the first number twice!
