Custom Home Screen Icons
Hello, this is my first post, so please bear with me.
I have a 9700, and I wondered if we can set custom icons on the home screen, like putting Opera or BeeJiveIM instead of other icons like Vodafone Live or Email or Calendar.
I hope you got it. I searched on the web, but no good answer for 9700.
Many many thanks for any help.

Click the menu (blackberry) button until the menu pops up. Select "move". The icon you had highlighted before you hit the menu button will now be available to move.
Hope that helps

yes you can. go to the icon you want on the home screen > menu button > move icon > move it to where you want it
If it is in a folder > icon higlighted| menu button > move to folder > home > then highlight it again > move icon > move to where you want it. - 08-06-2010, 01:57 PM #4
The top 5 icons are the ones that show on your homescreen.
Hit the Blackberry button. Find the icons you want on the home screen, hit the BB button again, choose move and press the trackpad, move the icon to the top row. Repeat until all 5 are as you desire. You can line the others up in order also.

You certainly can...
They're not called custom icons though, you're just customising your Home Screen.
Press the Menu (BlackBerry) button to get to your Application Screen. Scroll to the icon you want to appear 1st on your Home Screen, then press the Menu button again and scroll down to Move. Move that icon to the top left of the screen and then press the trackpad. Continue this process, and the top row of 6 icons on your Application Screen will now show in that order on your Home Screen.
Hope this helps
