Default Confused Over Specs Of 9700

So I'm a little confused as to what the processor really doe with the BB device. So the 9700 has 624 Mhz worth speed and its the crappiest processor as far as BB devices go? Im confused? It has the highest speed for processors. (I think its shared with Storm 2) Enlighten me about this one, guys. (I accept Nerdy/Geeky answers as well)

It's the same processor as the original Bold, and yes it's the fastest as far blackberries go. The Storm 2 has the same processor as the Storm 1, which is one of a few reasons I switched from the Storm 2 to the 9700.

It is absolutely NOT the same processor as the original Bold. It's clocked the same but it's a newer generation processor. It's faster clock for clock and has much lower power consumption.

The CDMA devices have processors that are different than the GSM handsets.
