    Default Can't upgrade from 6.0 Bundle 2342 (6.0.0.526)

    Hi everyone,

So I just started experiencing "MAJOR" issues with my blackberry, battery life is now terrible, ridiculously slow (I get a new text message... and i get the waiting logo, when I try and type something), after boot-up I have to wait at least another 10 minutes before I can do anything in the phone, random lockups, random restarts.... it's insane.

So I tried to download the latest official O/S last night which was from that Korean site, and when I tried to update, it checks and says "no new updates available..." ??? Then I tried a leaked version, and same thing. It won't let me upgrade out of the current version 6.0.0.526.... ??

It's a blackberry 9700 with 6.0 Bundle 2342 on AT&T. How do I fix this so I can upgrade it?

first delete all the OSes from you PC and ten delete everything in the map: Program Files/Common Files/Research in Motion/AppLoader. then restart the PC. Install the os you want to put on your bb. install BBSAK. connect your bb to pc and open bbsak and press wipe. it will erase all data on your bb including the actual os installed. now wait till you get the error 507 on your bb (do not disconnect from pc). go to Program Files/Common Files/Research in Motion/AppLoader and delete the vendor.xml. then run he lader.exe in the same map and install the os to your bb. if it still says that there is nothing compatible use vendelete.exe to delete the vendor.

    Good Luck

You actually do not need to delete all previous OS.

You just need to delete the second vendor.xml
    which is in roughly:

    C:/(your username)/appdata/roaming/research in motion/loader xml

    There is another vendor.xml there.

    hope it helps!
