Can't Open Email
This started a few days ago while I was still on .442. For some reason I'm getting email normally in all 3 inboxes except for emails from Flickr. Whenever I get an email from them and go to open it nothing happens. If I click the back button the new msg icon goes away, if I let it sit the screen eventually goes all white until I hit the back button. All other incoming email functions correctly. I installed .536 yesterday and the problem persists. Anyone else experiencing this?

hmmm did you install an app before this started happening?
it could be that its messing with your OS its happened before.
or maybe needs a reboot.Girls are like phones. They love to be held, talked too, but if you press the wrong button you'll be disconnected! - 03-19-2010, 12:10 AM

Nope. No new apps when it happened. Just out of the blue one day. I've done battery pulls, reinstalled OS, **** I even got a new phone (8900 -> 9700) and all didn't nothing to help. I think it may have something to do with the code in Flickrs emails because it only happens with emails from them.

I just got my 9700 and am having the exact same issue. The screen just stays blank, but if I click on "get plain text" it works. However, it's in plain text! Up till this afternoon I was opening them with my Curve 8300 and everything was fine.

Sounds like a flikr issue, people. Write their support an email.

I agree because it wasn't a problem on my 8900. Must be an OS issue. Still don't get why it would only be with Flickr though.
