I am dying (almost literally) for this phone. I am trying to avoid spending the 600 + dollars for the phone outright, Im considering the alternatives. So after researching I've noticed that ATT has only a 175$ cancellation fee, wheras in Canada it starts at 400. So would it be possible for me to buy the phone on a contract for a good deal and then cancel the plan immediately, pay the 175, and keep the phone ? I need your help!

edit: so pretty much i need help, i need to know if its possible for a canadian to purchase a contract in the states.
