buy a replacement keyboard from here:
DealsiShop.com - Buy cell phone parts, blackberry parts accessories, earbuds, wholesale & retail
unlike cnn, TS and sw-box which are in Hong Kong, this is a USA seller so you get your item in a few days rather than weeks.Previously: Blackberry Bold 9700 - 6.0.0.344
Currently: Motorola Atrix - Android 2.2

ive stated this numerous times before.....here are some points and options.
1.) replacing the keyboard, requires dismantling the phone. this voids your warranty. if you really want to, buy the replacement keypad and do the swap, replacing the warranty sticker as you go. try at your own risk, it really isnt hard at all.
2.) returning a phone or getting a warranty replacement over the frets is a waste and is silly over such a minor thing.
3.) they dont sell just the frets or ones in any color (at least that ive seen).
4.) pry the remaining bits out. they are held in by three little plastic tabs. this is what i have done to mine and it looks alot better without them. - 05-06-2010, 02:31 AM #9
I had 3 cracked frets on my current keyboard. After seeing your post, I couldnt stand it anymore and decided to just break them all. The keyboard does NOT look better without these frets lol. Im not blaming you in anyway, just a personal preference

With that said, my replacement keyboard is on its way

i have noted in other threads that it does leave somewhat odd looking spaces between the keys and holes below T,G and V which light shines through. however, its a minor appearance change that does complete the all blacked out look. i realize that some people may not like it, which is why in other threads i included pics. for this reason, i offered the other option of replacing the keypad on his own however would void the warranty.
