oh scratch, the biggest difference i've ever had in an upgrade is that I got the ability to type in Japanese finally with .423, and thankfully this .442 from HK vodafone still has it.

On T-Mobile coming from .423. The ONLY difference I see is that the audipostcard icon shows properly, rather than a generic icon like I had on some themes before. Other than that, I have seen nothing different at all.

you can try and back up the groups using bbm backup option in settings, choose device and remote location.. it supposed to back up the groups for you.. im rebooting now.. so i can let you know in a few

install the build of this OS from Vodafone SmarTone, i think it's on the 2nd or 3rd page. It's marked as "jEastAsia" and that "j" indicates that romaji input works. I also have a link to a version of .423 jEastAsia if you would rather use that, but either way you will have to reinstall the OS.

First of all...this is not a leak, it's an OFFICIAL carrier update. If you're having issues and/or giving yourself grief, just install your last os and don't worry about it Not saying this is the case for you, but quite a few users should browse the forums on how to download operating systems properly before they get themselves in too deep

So I DL'd it because unlike most, my battery seems to be draining much quicker on .423 than it did on .330 or .351.

I'm not really thrilled. I can't really tell what's different at the moment, other than the fact that after 2 battery pulls everything seems quite choppy. :-/

I might give it a little longer to see if that improves or what...

In most cases you're probably correct.... except the boot time.... 2.5 vs. 4 minutes is very noticeable.

well i'm more referring to anything after boot, like "oh the browser is faster" or ___ is more responsive, etc.

the only change i see is the browser is alittle bit quicker but not much of a change with anything else

Deleted the Vendor file, but it is not showing up in DM or AppLoader... This is annoying
