BOLD 9700 Newbie - wanna help me??
Hi BB friends!
I'm trying to personalize my new phone and was wondering if I can update my homescreen background with a saved pic?
I don't know the proper terms so I'm going to apologize on advance for how dumb this is gonna sound. Haha!
The 'first' screen that always shows on my BB has 6 icons, but the selfish me wants more! How can I add more icons?
*help*
Thanks!!

1. You need another theme that allows more than 6 icons. There are few available.
2. You need a memory card to save pics to, then you can set them as the desktop wallpaper on your blackberry. You could also go into Options > themes and change the default wallpaper from within the stock theme.
Cheers.
PS. Welcome to crackberry. Never hurts to ask for help

There is a whole area of this forum dedicated to "Themes". Some have quite a few icons on the main screen. I suggest you head over to the area dedicated to 9700 Themes and start browsing. Some are free and some you have to pay for.

Thank you....from your answers, I have a few more questions!
I have a memory card and have tons of pics saved and I have been able to set the pics as my desktop wallpaper (haha, thats the thing I was calling the "first screen" too funny) but but but, I'm trying to change the background of the screen when you press the BLACKBERRY menu button. Ya know where you can scroll down all the icons that dont fit on the desktop?
Thats the background that I'm trying to change.
