    Default The BOLD 9700 ....

Has the most bugs I've seen on any phone , including dumb phones .. The only thing that's keeping me from switching to the 9000 is the battery life ..

with the latest 5.0's coming out for the 9000, its battery life will eventually continue to improve. and can you explain what kind of bugs the 9700 is having.

Yesterday I had to pull the battery 5 times and yes , I have tried almost all the OS's . Most of them have bugs ..

If the 9000s battery life was as good as the 9700 then I wouldve have switched ages ago . I don't mind changing the trackball every 3 months , besides taking the 9000 apart is faaaaaar easier than the 9700 ..

you must have unfortunately received a lemon. most everyone posting here believes their 9700 is great, including me. Ive been using berries for four years and have had about all the models and can say honestly that my 9700 is the best of the bunch

I don't think I received a lemon . My 9700 was working perfectly for 4 months and all of the sudden it started acting up . Its fine now and anything is expected . I might pull the battery and expect the loading bar not to go all the way ..

If you're calling it a brick then you must have the
full sized with back door and all, just use the OEM
slim version. It does just fine...

No the slim version doesn't work for me . I use my bb a lot and I mean a lot . I use about 150 mb of data everyday ! 3 - 5 hrs of calls and so far the 9700 holds up great considering I have the 1750 mah for it ..

Well sounds like you're SOL. Call in for a
warranty replacement or go back to 9000
regardless of size. Could of been a possibility
you download a faulty app or something too...

No bugs and I have had mine for a week with no battery pull. It is more reliable than the 9000 for me!

Very few bugs here on the 9700. What are you experiencing? Maybe it's a bad app?

Still haven't heard a single bug described, and every OS I've run is pretty stable. It must be an app the OP has that's causing whatever issue it is.

I don't doubt there's a problem, but there also has to be a reasonable explanation. It's a software issue, so something must have changed.

Without any explanation of the bugs your experiencing, all I see is a bunch of complaining... So you're saying that after you do a battery pull, the phone might not load at all?

I've had my 9700 for a few months now, with no bugs at all! I have lots of third party apps installed with no problems at all! I counted 30 apps to be exact. I sit at just over 101 MB of app memory with no memory leaks, and battery is good! And I'm running the OS .442 from Zain Jordan on my Rogers 9700.

3 Months and no bugs here. I think there is more to this. Too many apps maybe, or a bad app?

I've had my 9700 for a month now. No problems with hardware, only some slight issues with Visual Voice Mail at first, which was app related.
