Blackberry flavoured Coffee

So yesterday morning, I was having my morning coffee, and my BB fell into the mug.
I pulled it out after a few seconds, and the screen flickered and went off.
Was gutted, so removed the battery, and checked online to find the 'rice trick'.

So I put the phone (minus SIM) and battery into the rice and left it overnight.
I woke up this morning, tried it, and it came on. Was working fine.
But it froze whilst texting, and turned off and won't go back on.

Before, the red light would flash when the battery was put in, now it does nothing. I put it back in the rice, and will leave it another night.

Anyone have any ideas if this doesn't work?
