Blackberry Bold 9700 – Email Setup - Help please!

I have just downloaded new software as mine was very out of date. I now have the ‘setup-up’ icon when I click it gives me options to set-up different things, and there is an ‘email account…’ icon. All the guides tell you to click this to start setting up email account etc the thing is my blackberry just will not let me select it. It lets me click on all other icons just not this, driving me insane grrrr!!! It has a green tick on it but so does the blockberry messenger icon next to it but that lets me click it now probs. I’ve done a battery pull but still will not work. So totally stuck, don't know how to delete, set up etc any email acounts please help!!!

If you already had email accounts set up on your device and all you've done is upgrade the OS, then you don't need to set up the accounts again.

Try going into "options - device - advanced system settings - host routing table" at this point, press the blackberry button and select "register now".

You will then receive an email to say your device has been registered. After that, all should be back to normal.
