Default Blackberry Application Center - where's the icon?

I was deleting a few games through DM on my Mac and saw Blackberry Application Center listed. Did a quick Google search and came up with this View Document

But, I don't see any icon on my phone for it. I'm using an AT&T 9700 unlocked on Rogers. Could that be why no icon exists?

It will disappear from your phone sometimes when deleting apps.

    Re download it:

I'm not looking for App World (although I thought that's what it was too at first). This is another app-manager thingy that carriers use to push "approved" apps down to our devices.

See the link I posted above.

There is no Icon for the Blackberry Application Center...

picture it this way The Application Center is used from Stuff your carrier pushes to your phone.

Blackberry App World is for stuff you, personally, downloaded.

The Application Center is useless. It shows updates weeks, if not months after the update has been made available. Yeah, some App Center? Waste of space on your phone. Delete it and forget it.
