AS there is not a release date set, it could turn up the same day as Vodafone get it.

Have a look at these websites:

Smartphones, Netbooks and Laptops - eXpansys UK
Mobile Fun - Mobile Accessories, Bluetooth Headsets, SIM Free Mobiles, Ringtones, Games & more!
Buy Sat Nav TomTom Garmin HTC PDA Tom Tom GPS Cheap - Reviews
Smartphones, HTC, Sony Ericsson, Blackberry, Nokia, Brodit, HP iPAQ, Palm - Clove Technology

They will all be carrying the 9700 unbranded and sim free...expansys are the most expensive whereas mobilefun, handtec and clove are cheaper than expansys...clove are doing it for 400 and handtec, mobilefun are selling it for 380.

i already have unlimited internet on my contract will i need to change that for my blackberry? this is going to be my first blackberry so dont know what i need to do with my contract in regards to changing it to a blackberry suitable contract. Currently its:
    600 mins
    unlimited texts
unlimited internet access (complimentary add on)
    5 discount on my contract

    Any advice would be great

and also why is it so late on orange when everyone else is already releasing it?

Ok, no further details on there other than late Nov launch...
    Waiting for it eagerly myself....
You'l need the BIS (blackberry internet service) add-on to get your mail pushed to your device. Think it's 5/month.
    Then you're set yo go...

Sorry, forgot to mention I've seen no other pricing apart from "free on selected plan" lol.
If you're due an upgrade you can always go through to retentions with the threat of leaving, and I'm sure they'll do you a deal ;-)

oh i plan on going to retentions dont worry about that! unfortunately i still have 2 months left on my contract so cant argue too much as im still tied down a little.

Glad i can get just the BIS add on, do i not need the BES add on? or is it all included?

BIS & BES are two different things, you only need BIS.

I think orange are the only network to offer payg bb plan in the uk. Think its a fiver a month but stand to be corrected.
