blackberry 9700 bold - endess loop

my sister has a bb bold 9700. she just went on to BBM to find the icon had gone and couldnt message anybody! so she tried wiping her phone and it came up with a software update.. she clicked that and now her phone wont work at all!!! its not her battery as its brand new anyway and her sim card works in her BF's phone! can some one please tell me what she can do.. her phone will load and then when its about 2 seconds away from turning on the phone goes blank and turns off again! this has gone on now for the past 2 hours and nothing is working!!

any help would be good!!

My point was, there was no need to wipe it in the first place. Follow the link I posted, and your sister's phone will be back in business.
