Default BB Keys yellow tint is this common?

I have noticed on my keys when the lights are off the light shining through is not a bright white, its more like a off/white color or a tinted white... is this normal? This is especially noticeable in the back key. Anyone have a similar issue?

    THANKS IN ADVANCE

If your referring to the backlighting on the keys, I'm pressure sure it's somewhat normal for your keys to get a slight yellow tint after repeated use, all of my keyboard devices (8900, 9000, 9700) have had yellowish tints to them after a few weeks/months of use.

I'm assuming this is just from the oil on your skin, transferring to the keyboard?

Hmmm. When I received mine, I took it out of the box on the way home that night, and my keys were a perfect white, so it may or may not be normal? Others here could chime in with more info on that.

If it's really bugging you, and others say their devices had white keys straight out of the box as well, You could exchange if, provided your in your return/exchange period, Even though I really don't suggest it, as the backlight colour of the keys is such a minor thing (even to me, someone whom will nit pick on anything at all.), and doing so could result in a device with a bigger problem, such as a wobbly trackpad.

But as I said, If it really bugs you, exchange it, you have the right as a consumer to do so, even though it may seem a bit silly.

Some of the devices are white and some are off white. I first noticed this with the 8900 because the first one I had was an off white then when I exchanged it (for a reason other than the keypad lighting) I got a device with a bright white keypad.

Mine is slightly off compared to the other 9700 in my house. Not sure if I'll exchange. Doubt it.
