Battery red cross

Hi Guys,
Ive seen loads of threads about this but none of them help. When i turn on my bold 9700 i get the red cross sign over my battery along with a constant red light.

A battery pull does nothing, and it is the official battery...any ideas?

Leave your Bold charging using the WALL charger overnight the red X generally the battery is totally discharged and takes several hours at least to show any sign of life.
