Assigned ring tones dont work now

yes everything works except my contacts all get the default ring tone instead of the ones I have assigned

If assigning custom ringtones don't work and the default keeps playing (I tried this before), just keep the default tone or one you like. It never worked for me either.

Having different ring tones assigned to different contacts is one of the cool functions of a Blackberry. This function worked on every Blackberry I owned and every OS I used. Because it's that important to me, I would either try the latest OS .979 or reload .862 or go back to the OS that worked.
