Install the latest software from ETISALAT (UAE) which has Arabic language (Multilingual) 5.0.0.680

No Dice on the Tour 9630. Got the arabic text file loaded perfectly, but the alt-enter just basically acts like i hit the "enter/return" key on the keyboard. switching languages it turns it all to arabic, but even then when i type, its english. I went into the language options, and for text input, still only shows english. Not sure why the keyboard won't change.

Alt-enter isn't working for me. "enable quick selection" is "yes". Arabic doesn't even show under "input language" yet i can change the language of the whole phone to arabic.

just wanted to make sure all BOLD 9700 onyx owners can find it by posting it here

installation steps
1- open BlackBerry Desktop Manager
2- click Application Loader
3- click Start under Add / Remove Applications
4- Browse
5- Select Arabic.alx
6- then continue for installation without selecting anything
7- wait for your device to restart
7- press ALT + Enter or goto language selector under: Settings -> Options -> Language and Text input , under Inout Language you will see العربية select it and VOILA !

i should add some other language packs to my blackberry, even though i dont understand them, it would be useful on the japan version of google (i dont know why it loaded a few times on my device).

My guess is that you'll need to give it a go and see if it works, because the old OS5 ringtone COD works well for me in OS6.

So I'm thinking that the CODs probably work across the various later OS platforms.
