Not sure exactly, it deletes the uninstalled apps out of MyWorld in AppWorl and I think removes it completely from the device as my memory indicates, the battery pull I just did showed 119MB free now, I love it.

Yeah, people will be people, and that's the issue with them. Then they become "cyber'" people, those are the worst, the most snotty, hypocritical, self-righteous know-it-all"s on the planet. I am not calling anyone here anything, though I'm sure there's plenty on here, there always is quite few anywhere you go, but I don't drop names and I don't know any member on here well enough to do any name calling anyway.

Forgive my ignorance but what is "RST"?
- 08-22-2010, 12:43 AM #16
You open appworld, and then you hold the ALT button and type "RST" on your keyboard, and then after a couple of seconds app world will close and will free up some of the memory of old programs that you have uninstalled that may show up in app world. I didn't have any programs showing up in app world, but it still freed up around a meg, so it's worth the try.

I hold down the Alt throughout the process and then I push the R and release S and release and then the T and release it but it doesn't do anything. I can't get my fingers to hold all 4 keys simultaneously so I assume that isn't the trick. What am I doing wrong?

Are you on AppWorld/MyWorld when you're doing this?

The memory will go back down to where it was rather quickly.

How quickly are we talking? 12 hours later a couple battery pulls in that time (one to be sure the memory didn't drop back down, and one after changing some apps) and I am now sitting at 119.5MB free, up from where it was after the first battery pull and doing that. Am I missing something here?
