9700 screen/display problems

this is the first time ive ever come across something like this. my phone recently, literally couple of days ago, has started having issues with the screen display; one moment everythings fine, the next it all messed up, and then its fine again.

i havent dropped it, i havent soaked it, no water has got in as far as im aware, so im completely stumped.

(this sometimes happens to the screen, but more often its the other blurry kinda thing that happens)



(this and the photo beneath it is what happens most of the time. it stays like this until i press the lock key and unlock the phone again, then everything looks normal again, for a little while)



i havent really noticed anything strange, but i noticed this little mark in the background of the media player, which im pretty sure was not there before,


any help/advice on this would be appreciated. thanks

Try updating your os

it has the latest version,

I would take advantage of the warranty, but since it's been a year, a repair shop could replace the faulty screen. That is what I suggest.
