    Default 9700 battery indicator

Hi I have a 9700 that was previously water damaged judging by the marks inside. It all appears to work fine apart from the battery indicator. It will work ok for a while then go to 1% battery then when you take the battery out and restart it will be back to its correct level then about half an hour later it will be back to 1% it also has the same problem when charging and stays on 1% dispite being fully charged and requires a battery pull to get it to the correct level. The phone works fine but its just annoying not really knowing how much battery is left. Can anyone think of any ways to fix this? I have reloaded the software and it is os6 thanks

Could just be a water damaged battery. Have you tried another?

Hi, the battery works fine in my bold 9000 and the bold 9000 battery has the same problems in the 9700 so it must be a problem with the phone? Anyone have any ideas what it might be?

Download battery booster pro or another free bat app. See if that works and if it does, its the best alternative.

You can set alerts for low bat, 50 per, 30 per, etc assuming the app works.
