Default When can I get OS 7 on my Sprint 9650?

Does anyone know when it will be available? I'm so sick of OS 6!

You'll never get OS7, your device is incapable of handling it.
You need to upgrade to a device that has OS7 already on it.

OS 7 isn't a whole lot different from 6. Basically OS 7 has quicker hardware which makes the ui more fluid. It has an improved browser and social feeds 2.0. If your wanting that quicker feel, a new phone with better hardware is what you need.

OS 7 is a whole lot different from OS 6. It still will never be available for the 9650.

You need to upgrade to a newer device that supports OS 7 if you want to use OS 7.

OS7 devices are much more advanced, with the Blackberry Bold 9650 you will only get OS6.

The closest thing right now to OS7 on a 9650 is an OSBB OS6 hybrid that contains over 200 7.1 files:

OSBB 706v2 (6.0.0.723 and 7.1.0.190) Hybrid

This runs great on my Bold 9650 without any issues.

I'm running that on my 9650, and it seems to be running pretty good... except I am still having the issue where my typing is delayed...

I remember this discussion when I had my 9630, "when are we getting OS6" or "can I get OS6 on my 9630"? That's why they come out with new devices to get you to buy the latest thing and better software. It would be nice to have OS7 on my 9650, but I do look forward to a 9930 personally.

well if you talk to the last sprint rep i talked to he offered to instruct me on how to install os7 on my 9650 and after i told him that was impossible he said no it isnt and that he had it on his 9330.

he said the lack in specs for the processor is outweighed by the fact that he has a 2gb card in his memory card slot.

i challenged him and said if he sent it to me with os7 i would give him $5,000

sometimes you get real smart people on the phone.
