Verizon's BIG announcement on Wednesday

Found this over at Phone Arena. Apparently, Managers are being told that Wednesday is a big day. One can only assume the iphone will be coming over, finally, OR the Essex is being released? I would like the latter but my hunch is something "Big" would be more Iphone related.

I believe that Wednesday is Apple's big conference, so I'm guessing it will be the iPhone.

I hope they do get the Iphone, I want one, don't think AT&T works in my house or at least they didn't when they were Cingular, nowhere around my house not even outside. But would leave my BB I'll keep T-Mobile for that.

prob just more info about the itablet...which in most cases dont work for most people who would prefer a physical keyboard...portable keyboard by someone else just to have fun using...but will it be worth it?

I think it'll be that Verizon is getting the iTablet or w/e its called. I don't see them announcing the iPhone for Verizon until AT&T exclusive deal is just about up. Why announce it so far in advance and hurt AT&T's, as well as your own, sales? Wouldn't make a whole lot of sense.

you think the itablet will have a verizon cell phone service attached to it? i mean i dont know anything about apple and im glad i dont, but why would verizon get the itablet? unless they do what they do to those netbooks, like attach a built in 3g card to use the network, then thats something to talk about

I think it's the iPhone, think about it lowering rates, now the iPhone, what reason would people have to not switch to verizon? AT&T had to cut their rates too, they knew this day was coming also. Maybe the end for AT&T?

would be a good announcement indeed. but i think its the itablet thing. though only 2 days will tell

Very interesting theory. I think I might have to force myself to get used to the virtual keyboard if the iPhone comes to Verizon.

I would switch to the iPhone. I have a iPod Touch and love the thing. The software and apps are easier to use than my Storm.

def not the iphone. no reason at all to announce it going to verizon when they still have the agreement with att. then alot of ppl will wait till it goes to verizon to get the phone and sales will drop like a boulder.

also if they dont announce they will still get people to switch from verizon to att then hopefully get them to switch back to verizon when the iphone comes to verizon(if it ever does).

iphone was originally supposed to go to verizon but apple wanted too much control over the support aspect and verizon said no, cant see why they would change their mind now(they had to know that the iphone was going to be the killer phone it is, dont think much changed from then to now in terms of expected popularity).

The tablet or whatever would be okay, but not the iPhone. IPhone has killed every network its been on.

Instead, how about announcing they are going live with LTE?
