Does anyone have any thoughts on whether the upgrade is worthwhile now? Is the battery life equal to or better than 975? Is it as stable? Is it as peppy?
My primary concern is battery life, stability, and lag. I'm not so concerned about the browsing experience, apps, ringtones, etc.
My last comment is that I work long hours and travel a lot for business and don't really have time to try it out and downgrade if I don't like it. That process is a huge time sink.
I appreciate your advice.
Thanks. | This is the best os i've had on my 9650. i got my 9650 the week they were released by verizon. i would give it a shot and go from there. as long as you have a copy of the old os you can reinstall it later. i would try it for a week before uninstalling it so that you get used to the new os. i think you will like it better. i wouldn't try to shrink it, before or after installtion, if i were you. try it as is and see how everything works. i seem to have more problems when i shrink or use bbsak to backup than i do when i just load as is and then reinstall apps that apploader doesn't put back. i did have to put my passwords back in all of my emails to verify and re-register my paid apps but it is the smoothest it's been since new.
