Default unlock 9650?

Can a vzw bold 9650 be unlocked to use on another carrier, like tmo? I have an ok condition 9650 that is useless besides connecting to wifi. I hate to see it not being used bc I don't know anyone w/ vzw as a carrier. Maybe I can make a cheap sale

Why don't you list it here in the Marketplace? You might be able to get some decent money for it, depending on the condition.

Yes, its possible to unlock the 9650(dunno how, try searching the forum.) on other carrier out side the US and you can get to 3G not just EDGE. Depending on your current carrier, CDMA phone aren't BIS supported( like me )

Most 9650's come already unlocked as it is a world phone. I suggest using BerryReview's unlock if you truly need one.

Sprint's 9650s are already unlocked. VZW's are not.

Try trading it in to Best Buy. I traded mine in for $190 2 weeks ago towards an iPhone 4S.

It's not a problem to unlock the Bold 9650 and use it with GSM carriers but, you can only get EDGE (2G) with this unlocked device on t-mobile.

If you unlock the device using a mep unlocking code to make it sim free remember to change the phone number to the one you are using on GSM by dialing ##000000 from a Verizon device.
