Once I've read an email on my 9650, I hit the menu button and select delete, it takes 8-10 seconds for this to happen. I'm on OS6.

Is this normal?

From my experience, I would say no. What email provider are you using? Have you tried removing that account and re-installing it, sometimes this can help.

I would do what Jimi suggested, or even try a battery pull. That might help it.
But no, it is not normal.

It should be almost instant. You can also hit the "DEL" key on the keyboard to delete an email in the default app.

it takes 8-10 sec for me to delete about 70-120 emails.. that long for 1 email is not normal.
