The wait for OS6 was too long, so I jumped on the Android bandwagon again (for like the 5th time) and got me an EPIC 4G. I plan to switch back and forth with my 9650 and maybe switch back completely and return the EPIC if the OS6 update comes out within the next month, during which I can return the phone. BIG IF.

No upgrade fee. Premier customer here. The only fee I paid was the cost of the phone and it will all be refunded if I return it, which is looking quite likely, as I can't type on that thing at half of the speed I type on my Bold.

$35 restock fee though... that's one thing I hate about that 30 day window. There is never any reason you wouldn't activate the phone...

see......everyone think OS^ (especially the NEWBIE'S) think OS6 will be out in a few weeks. all carriers will wait until they release there new device's before dropping the OS for older devices

Not always true: OS5 for Storm1 was available before Storm2 was released. 5.0.0.328 was available 10/25 and Storm2 (5.0.0.320) launched on 10/28.

Someone made an exception for you that they were not supposed to then. There is always a restocking fee as soon as the device is activated.
