Default Theme?

I downloaded a Free theme from my Blackberry World....When I went into my display themes, which is where all my other themes are, my new one isn't there. I've rebooted the phone twice, both done by battery pull.

Help!

Are you sure the theme supports your BB model?

Thank you for the below information, however I don't have an Advanced Options in my Options icon. I have the Bold 9650.

Check the application list, Options > Advanced Options > Applications to see if the theme is listed. If it is, it's definitely on your BB. This means the theme is either not for you OS, or for your device.

When you click on the theme in the app list you should see some information like this, to confirm the OS and device:

Try Options, Device, Application Management... That works for OS 6.x.

To the OP:
If it doesn't show up then it is not the right OS for your phone. It has to be OS6 if that is what you are running.

I bet what happened was that the theme you downloaded was for OS5.
If you look on our Crackberry thread here...you will see some FREE themes for OS6.

I'm a regular theme queen, so if I can help you further, please ask.

Not the original poster but I have a question. I know you have lots of themes, as do I, so I'm wondering how you store them all. TIA

I purchased a Morph theme and couldn't figure it out for the life of me...it was very plain only gave me 4 colors to chose from, and I couldn't move the icons....to frustrating so I deleted it.

Can you share your theme storage suggestions?

Morph is actually an excellent theme. Was created by a friend of mine and I beta tested that one. You can do so much with it. All the screen items can be moved and hidden or shown. You can change banner textures and lots more. If you want to use it, you need to take a closer look. If you want an easy, no fuss setup then look elsewhere.

If you want to save your themes so you can take them off your phone do this: backup with BBSAK. that creates cod files of the themes. Them when you want to install a them again, use BBSAK to put the cod file back on your phone.

Or there is another way. Create the cod and then use BB Boss or BB Hybrid Tools Shrink AOS and create a jad file to go with the cod. Then you can place both in a folder on your storage card and install anytime you want right from your phone.

Instead of having to go online to Mobihand each time, I have all my themes on my storage card.

Oh wow....you are the theme queen!!! LOL

I found alot of Morph themes but I need a very detailed instructions list on how to navigate and move things until I get the hang of it. LOL I loved the sunflower one I saw!

Thanks so much for all this wonderful information!!!

OK, I can see taking your time to use Morph. But the "sunflower" you mention is probably just someone's wallpaper. You can change wallpaper on most any theme and get the same look. Look in the thread for themes I mentioned before and find a free theme that you can use. Then if you see any wallpapers you'd like, ask the person if they would share!
