SPRINT Bold 9650 on a prepaid network?

Hey Guys,

I have a Sprint Bold 9560 thats just sitting here and my mom needs a phone. She does not care for Data/BBM etc. Just a phone and texting, is it possible to use a US based Prepaid carrier on this phone? (MetroPCS, ATT, Virgin etc.)

It's not possible to use it with any CDMA prepaid carriers but you can certainly use any GSM prepaid carrier (AT&T, T-mobile, Simple Mobile etc) put in the SIM card, and you'll have a phone for talk/texting
