I have a higher OS than that.

I've been getting VZW 8530's in for my employer and all the trackpads seem a little off-kilter. I guess it is what it is. At least they work better than the trackballs (which are oriented correctly).

Those pictures definitely look photoshopped. From the crooked trackpad to some other details surrounding the keyboard and even the bezel.

The device pictured has a keyboard identical ( aside from call button ) to the 9630. The 9650 I have in my hand is slightly different to the trained eye in terms of how the keys are shaped and molded. They also feel quite different when pressed fwiw. Finally the bezel is the same color as the VZW 9630 which is quite different than the color of the bezel on the Sprint 9650.

Software version and branding version are also different than what I have.

Long story short, the device does exist, it is out there and being distributed to select folks, the one pictured just doesn't seem to be it.

Since when does having a Sprint background make a device Sprint branded? I could make my 9630 AT&T branded if that was the case....

Can you take a picture of the outside of the box? What does the outside of the box label the phone as?

Blackberry 9650? Blackberry Tour 2? or Blackberry Tour 9650?

K, its not photoshopped. Pretty ridiculous that you'd think that. But that's cool.

Sarcasm: I went through all that trouble to find or make fake pictures to make myself look cool.

LOL. Jeez. Some people I guess.

And I don't know what Sprint-branded is then. It is a phone made for Sprint. Says "Activation Required" at the top.

Also, I didn't buy the phone so I don't know what it said on the box. It did have the UPC label though, with the PIN the same as the device!

Why would he send me fake pictures of a device I was going to buy up until last night? It was mine until someone offered WAY MORE, much more so than I was willing to pay and feel justified.

No, the device had fingerprints because it was used for a bit. He used it to put his SIM in to verify the PIN works as well. The sent a few emails and BBMs to make sure it was legit.

I guess he didn't wipe them off, and it was shot with an SLR, sorry and calm down.
