Its not a phone problem, its a carrier problem (Sprint). The same thing happened to me approx 6 months ago, it lasted approx 72 hours. A Sprint tech has to refer your phone to a Blackberry rep and then the BB rep has to go into the system, ect., ect, ect. Its all done over a landline because the phone in question has to be "coded" while your on the landline so be prepared to be on the landline for a couple of hours. Haven't had a problem since.
My 9650 performance actually improved.
