Sprint 9650 with T-Mobile Service
I have a T-Mobile Blackberry plan. Previously used a T-Mobile 8900 and switched to a Sprint 9650. The phone is unlocked and after inserting my sim I received phone calls and SMS. Called T-Mobile to help me with missing features and whatever we did didnt work. I then updated what I believed were the right service books using "BBSAK". Changed my settings to GSM/UMTS and 3G/2G. APN is epc.tmobile.com. Blackberry has sent messages stating my handheld is registered with the wireless network. After doing this BB App World and other social apps work but I'm unable to use my web browser without using WIFI and my MMS, BBM and emails arent working. My service alternates between edge and EDGE. I even "switched devices" on BB Desktop and still nothing. Shows all my BBM contacts and email addresses now but they arent working. I noticed under Service Status the previous users number is still there and my Blackberry Internet Service says Not Connected. I figure this is the problem. How can I change this?
Searched threads for direction but found nothing. Any help would be appreciated. - 04-18-2012, 12:59 PM

Did the previous owner contact Sprint to release the PIN? You will not be able to add the device to your BIS account if the previous owner has not released the PIN.

Not sure but I'll find out. Would if be possible to get BBM requests with an unreleased PIN? I've managed to get BBM contacts.
