Default Something else is looking better and better

Well, I'm expecting my fourth 9650 over the last few months from Sprint tomorrow. The one it will replace didn't last 20 hours.

It's becoming easier and easier to move to Android...

What have been the problems. You can't bash a phone and not say what Happened.

The first one restarting on its own a couple of time a day, although it did last nearly 9 months. The second one, completely lock up with a fully charged battery within a 1 day. The third, lag with the camera but that wasn't enough for me to get rid of it. Then charging issues even after buying a new battery and charger. Then came the restarting which continued after the Sprint check it out updating the OS that was already up to day. The fourth, was fine for about 9 hours, then started typing "y","i" and "d" on its own with no way to cancel when any button was pressed in addition to going into sleep mode only waking up when it was ready to type more of the same letters. Battery pulls on the current device seems to have no effect.

The "new" one should be here today, but right now I have very little confidence it will last.

Many people on Sprint have this problem. What did you do to try to solve it? Let me guess, nothing. Try using some other than Sprint's crappy OS releases, you might find you'll solve some (if not all) of your issues.

nydog, if you have had more than 4 of the 9650 in the last 6 months you might want to reach out to customer support and see if they can do something for you. It may seem like a long shot but it is worth a try.
