Software security verification FAILED now BB doesn't work!
Deleted an app from my phone this morning (StickyNotes) and when the device rebooted, the security verification showed "failed". It indicated that it was turning the radio off.
Completely unexpected. Any ideas?

Tried some hard resets (battery pulls) and radio remained off.
With the radio off, I tried making a call and it prompted me to allow the radio back on. Once it came back on, I did a hard reset of the device and it rebooted with the radio on and security verification passing.
Not sure what happened, but it appears to be working now...

Weird, but I actually had this happen to me yesterday. I downloaded the new QuickLaunch from AppWorld, and after installation it required a restart to get rid of the old version. Phone rebooted, had a software security failure, and it turned the radio off. I just went in and turned the radio back on, did a soft reset (alt right shift delete), let it run through the reboot and the security check went through like normal. First time it has happened to me also...

This has happened to me randomly a few times. I have never even needed to reboot - I just turned the radio on in the Manage Connections options and moved on.
I will admit to backing up a little more frequently after first seeing the error, but I've never needed the backups. OS reinstall seems more than necessary unless there's more going on.

Same problem here with Error Codes
I am running a Bold 9650 with a 126.96.36.1991 OS on Verizon and started failing the security verification after a battery pull as few days ago it states that I failed and turns the radio off and gives me the option for details, when I click details it shows me what I failed and what I passed by whether it has a check mark or no check mark next to it.
These are the security features that failed:
Everything else seems to work fine on the phone. For those that might ask, I have not downloaded or updated any apps in the last month either.

That happened to me a couple of times now... each time all I did was turn the radio on, battery pull and life was good again. It hasn't happened near enough to warrant an OS reload yet.

Seriously. Someone screenshot when this happens next time. Or even take a picture of the screen. Idc. I wanna see it. I'm curious.
