    Default Slacker

I recently installed Slacker on both of my 9650's on different networks to see if they exhibited the same tendencies. I traditionally use Pandora or Tunein while I am waiting for Spotify to decide if they will support Blackberry.

The problem starts when using Slacker and then pairing with Bluetooth in the vehicle. It begins stopping the song and when I restart the song it locks up the phone or I get the white screen of Java death. I always need to do a battery pull. these are both enterprise phones but only one is actively on one.Anyone else experienced this? The two networks are Sprint and Verizon.

I have had a lot of problems with Slacker lately. I usually get the problem you described after an hour of playing on my 9650. Before I get that issue, it always skips after playing a song - meaning, it will play a song, play two seconds of the next one and then skip to the next song. These errors just started in March.

Yes that is how it happens for me as well. Glad to see I am not the only one.

I use Slacker on my laptop and have tried for nearly two years to use it on my 9650 but have never been able to get it to work correctly so I finally gave up. Pandora works great on the 9650, so I don't even bother with Slacker on my BB any more.

It works fine on the Playbook as well. Just not the 9650.

Slacker never worked right on my 9700. It did work on my 9000 3 years ago. As Slacker updated over the years, its usability degraded to the point that I could no longer use it at all. I used Pandora, since I had no issues with Pandora.

Good point. I use Slacker on my PB all the time with no trouble.
